  • What is Kinesiology?
    Kinesiology is the study of the human body's movement & energy patterns via muscle testing. Kinesiology is a holistic approach to health and will look closley at what is causing any imbalances rather than treating the symptoms in isolation. A Kinesiolgist will focus on all aspects of the patient's wellbeing including looking closley at their physical, physiological, emotional and chemical state.
  • What does a Kinesiologist do?
    A Kinesiologist uses muscle testing (reading muscle responses) to identify stressful/disfuncional aspects of the patients body. Muscle testing provides "brain-body feedback" which accurately reveals any physical, emotional, physchological or chemical imbalances that the client maybe experiencing. This crutial information then allows the Kinesiologist to provide the best holistic treatment plan to restore the client's optimal health.
  • What happens in a Kinesiology Session?
    At your first Kinesiology session your practitioner will discuss any relevant issues, your health history and what you would like to achieve from your session. Through muscle testing the Kinesiologist will focus on finding any imbalances of your body, mind or spirit, focusing on the connections between the physical body and emotional stress. The Kinesiologist will then provide relevant help, corrections and resources to help restore balance to the system, ensure optimal functionality, pain relief and emotional healing. Your session will conclude with an overview of what has been achieved and recommendations to improve your wellbeing.
  • What is muscle testing?
    Muscle testing is a the term used to describe applying small amounts of pressure to a muscle/s and feeling for strength, stress and weakness within the muscle fibres. Our thoughts, body chemistry, stress, nutrition and other factors all play a part in our muscle responses.
  • What can Kinesiology do for me?

  • How is Kinesiology different to massage?
    Unless getting a Kinesiology massage, a regular Kinesiology sesssion incorporates elements of massage, however this is not the sole focus. Kinesiology sessions can be performed sitting, standing or lying down and the client remains fully clothed during a regular session. The focus is more on creating balance within the body on different levels through various healing techniques and processes.
