Why do some men start balding and some don't you may be asking?

Well the answer is simple yet it's also complex.

The simple answer is - the nervous system of the man with balding is burnt out.

The body is experiencing so much stress whether it be mental health wise, financially, work-wise or in relationships.

His body is depleated, there is not enough nutritional resources being absorbed, let alone enough to grow healthy hair and so this lack of nutrients causes a hormonal imbalance between progesterone and testosterone. When progesterone is in low supply so Is blood flow and nutrient supply to the hair follicles on the scalp and after a period of time it becomes more and more apparent as hair grows less and less.

An immediate difference can be created by supplying nutrients directly to the scalp. Being that skin is so absorbent we can actually apply nutrients directly to the scalp to increase growth.

Some people find it helpful to apply Fulvic minerals to the scalp after dry skin brushing (stimulating bloodflow) others find using topical magnesium spray aswell can be super helpful because magnesium straight on the skin can create heat and thus also increases bloodflow and is a super important mineral for the body when experiencing stress

The clinical and scientific research around increasing hair growth this way can be pulled from the treatments of PRP - platelet rich plasma treatments. Which is the process of extracting blood and seperating it to make plasma, the plasma is then reinjected into the scalp along with microneedling which supply's vital nutrients and stimulation the body needs inorder to repair and regrow hair.

Now these treatments can be costly. But the same principles can be applied by creating stimulation like mentioned above with a dry skin brush and then applying bioavailable nutrients directly to the scalp.

A more long term solution includes some lifestyle tweaks which I personally find to be fun, enjoyable and a great stress reliever.

How this involves helping the nervous system learn how to regulate. When we are stressed we feel disconnected, agitated and many more undesirable feelings. Learning to regulate the body is all about learning how to move your body so that you become more present and more relaxed

So by now you might be trying to work out what the nervous system even has to do with your hair.

Good news is that I'm here to fill you in..

When our nervous systems are in a constant state of disruption or worse yet; burnout from constant stress and not knowing what to do about it, ones digestive system essentially all but becomes stagnant. When your digestion is at a standstill from stress you don't digest your food nearly enough and you can forget about absorbing nutrients.

If you are chronicly constipated or regularly have loose stools or diarrhoea you can bet your bottom dollar your not absorbing nearly enough nutrients to build a healthy Hormonal system which is infact the basis of thick healthy hair on a mans head.

So what can be done?

So immediately one can look at topical nutrients such as Fulvic minerals, magnesium and mineral salves

And on a long term scale one can address the underlying body conditions through effective stress management by working with nervous system to get things working well.

If this all interests you today I encourage you to jump into the book now section of our site where you can try out for free - one of our nervous system restoration movement classes where I (Olivia) teach you how to balance your nervous system and connect to yourself more deeply with the intention to balance your hormones and having you grow back a full healthy head of hair.
